AEG Staff has experience in providing CM services for CTA Improvement Program, Red Line & Blue Line various stations, Chicago, Illinois.

The project included Phase III Construction Engineering and Inspection services for the modifications to various CTA stations on Red & Blue lines.

The construction consisted of modifications/ reconstruction to the electrical room, station/ platform modifications to the public address system, elevator improvements and ADA improvements. Red Line improvements included electrical room reconstruction, ADA/ elevator, new PA platform /station system at the Loyola station and new electrical room construction at the Bryn Mawr station. Blue Line improvements included modifications to the electrical room, new PA platform /station system and various improvements to the electrical room at O’Hare station and Jefferson Park station. The construction was conducted during the regular CTA operational hours without interruption to CTA train schedule and public access to the CTA stations. Responsibilities included assisting PM (Resident Engineer) with the monitoring project schedule, project meetings, conducting inspections, coordinating with the designer, CM sub-consultants, CTA (client) and general contractor (Walsh Construction) and subcontractors.
