Scott Cain, PE is Vice President, Transportation, and has over 22 years of experience leading transportation engineering teams on multi-discipline transportation engineering related projects. Scott is a Tulane University Engineering Alum and has worked in Massachusetts, Louisiana, and led the Civil Engineering Division at his previous firm, working on a full spectrum of surface transportation and rail projects. Scott’s professional background focuses on leadership of design teams for projects involving roadway geometric design, maintenance of traffic planning, technical specification preparation, barrier warrant analysis, utility coordination, cost estimating, construction scheduling, site design, drainage improvements, site grading, as well as all aspects of project management of multi-disciplined teams.
Scott directed the development of large-scale civil project scopes of services and spearheaded numerous roadway and rail projects throughout Chicagoland. He has led major projects with the Illinois Tollway, Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), Chicago Transit Authority (CTA – RPM project Chief Civil Team Leader), Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), Cook County DOT (CCDOTH), DuPage County DOT, Will County Division of Transportation (WCDOT), Massachusetts DOT, and Louisiana Department of Natural Resources.
