Daniel Schmanski,PE, CFM, is Water Resources Director bringing over 20 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on water resources solutions across Illinois and nationwide. A graduate of Valparaiso University with a degree in Civil Engineering, Daniel specializes in hydrology and hydraulics modeling, roadway and airfield drainage design, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. His experience spans both private and public sector projects at the municipal, county, and state levels. Daniel has contributed to major transportation and drainage initiatives for agencies including the Illinois Tollway, IDOT, WCDOT, and MCDOT.
