As the prime consultant, Atlas provided Phase II structural engineering services on a task order basis for the preparation of eight bridge rehabilitation projects including contract plans, special provisions, and estimates to be inserted into IDOT’s set of final contract plans. The work consisted of removal and replacement of the existing bridge deck wearing surfaces, substructure repairs, traffic control plans, and the repair and/or replacement of the following items: sign structures, expansion joints, bearings, approach pavements, and installation of scour countermeasures.
